Fiddler’s Green Vineyard & Bistro is proud to announce Anthony Eru as our new head Chef. Tony is a well-established classical French chef that trained in Auckland at Tamerind Fine Dining, Antoine’s as a sous chef under Tony Astel and a sous chef at Euro with Simon Gault and Michael James. He also worked alongside with Martin Bosley and Rex Morgan during his stay at Euro. Tony as a sous chef worked with Sean Connerly at the Grill (Restaurant of the year 2013). Tony was born & raised in Whangararuru Mokau on the Bay of Islands.
We got lucky when his position at Hermitage on Mount Cook as Chef de Cusine, fell through with this virus mess. We are extremely excited working with his caliber to bring our Bistro to the next level.

Tony is cooking delicious European inspired fare with Kiwi classic style dishes in a relaxing family friendly atmosphere. All ingredients are locally sourced.
Seating indoors & outdoors provide a scenic view overlooking the front or back vineyard. The wood burning stove provides a cozy warm Bistro in the winter and the 2nd floor to the bistro has air conditioning for our patrons comfort summer.
The Bistro features the wines of Waipara Valley, as well as their own wine, with a full bar, 6 Local Craft beers on tap and provide fillery services.
Tony bakes fresh Sour Dough French Banquettes daily for your enjoyment.
